Collaboration is key for Sara. After earning a degree in Visual Communication Design from Purdue University, she knew the perfect work environment would be a place where she could push boundaries and find the best possible design solutions, even if they are a little out-of-the-box. That’s when she found Dearing Group.
Since joining our agency, Sara has brought her unique flair and dedicated work ethic to all things visual communication. She’s often creating magazine spreads, brochures and billboards, bouncing ideas off other creatives and finding new ways to captivate audiences. Sara often reminds the rest of Team DG that there are no right answers in art and pushes everyone to be creative problem solvers.
Quick Q&As with Sara:
Why are you in this profession?
Using creative outlets to produce the best possible design solutions are things I thoroughly enjoy. And honestly, it’s just a lot of fun.
Have you had your 15 minutes of fame?
Not yet…but I know it’s coming!
List 3 words that describe you.
Open-minded, caring and goofy.
What is your most embarrassing moment?
Fourth-grade choir concert. Stage fright got the best of me, and I nearly tumbled head-first off the stage. Luckily, the principal was on her toes that day and swooped me up before I could hurt anything besides my pride.
What type of music do you like?
All of it! Well, all of it except Screamo. Translation: 90s emo music with a hint of—you guessed it—screaming.
