Challenge
St. Elizabeth School of Nursing is a highly respected institution with over 125 years of history and strong connections to the medical community. However, as a uniquely small institution, it was not as well-known as some of its larger competitors. In addition, the school’s unwavering focus on developing topnotch nurses had led to a lack of attention to marketing and self-promotion efforts for many years. Our challenge was (and still is) to help the school increase its brand awareness and visibility, while still maintaining its reputation for excellence in nursing education.
Results
Our work with the school has resulted in the development of a compelling brand position and a suite of marketing and communication tools, including recruitment materials and a multi-tiered digital marketing campaign. We aim to communicate with prospective students and key influencers at every stage of the recruitment funnel. Only 18 months after we began working together, enrollment tripled, helping the school secure its position as a leading institution for nursing education for many years to come.

The Purdue College of Pharmacy is an esteemed pharmacy school boasting a wide range of programs and a rich heritage. As such, the school recognized the importance of defining a unified brand position to help cement its standing amidst an increasingly competitive landscape. Our team was challenged with distilling a clear and compelling brand position that would resonate with each of their key audiences — including prospective students and their families, current students, faculty and staff, alumni, and industry partners.
Results
After conducting several brand development workshops with select groups of students, faculty and alumni, our work resulted in the creation of a unique and unified brand position. By tailoring key messaging to each group’s distinct needs and interests but remaining steadfast to the brand’s core position, we were able to develop an effective communication strategy to serve as the framework for all future communications from the college.
