POSITION – Account Coordinator

(Entry-level)

The Account Coordinator position collaborates with the account services team and agency management on the development and execution of client projects and campaigns, as well as agency new business initiatives. The Account Coordinator is expected to maintain a high-level awareness of client activities, provide a detail-oriented level of project management and be able to communicate fluently and professionally both in writing and in face-to-face interactions. The ideal Account Coordinator will be proactive, high-energy, organized and approachable.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Directly and indirectly support agency client service efforts.
  • Participate in and document discussions during client meetings and conference calls.
  • Act as a liaison between client and agency as needed.
  • Collaborate with production manager to develop and execute project schedules.
  • Request and review vendor quotes as needed.
  • Assist with internal and external information requests.
  • Conduct secondary research.
  • Assist with accounts payable/accounts receivable.
  • Proofread agency projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and/or Google Docs
  • Strong organization, planning, prioritization and time management skills
  • Strong written/oral communication and proofing skills
  • Professional and welcoming demeanor in working with both clients and co-workers
  • Irresistible desire to be “in the know” or otherwise stay abreast of projects and key details, dates and incoming/outgoing client communications
  • Flexibility to seamlessly adjust to changing projects, priorities and dates


FSLA STATUS: Full-time/Exempt

HOURS PER WEEK: 40

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required with or without reasonable accommodation to sit, stand, bend and reach with manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, copiers, telephones and other office. May require lifting up to 50 pounds.  Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
